Housing Options

Affordable Market-Rate Housing

MHAOK offers housing at affordable market rates for low to moderate-income working households. We also accept housing subsidies to ensure affordability so you and your family can plan for the future. With truly affordable housing, MHAOK is working to stabilize neighborhoods and prevent homelessness.

Permanent Supportive Housing

Altamont and Yale Apartments are owned by MHAOK, allowing those who are affected by mental illness and homelessness to live independently in the Tulsa community with on-site supportive services. Our staff members work one-on-one with our tenants to support their goals, ensuring they remain housed, connect with vital services, and acquire the skills necessary to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life

ION: Intensive Outreach and Navigation

The Intensive Outreach and Navigation (ION) team provides outreach and supportive services to individuals with serious mental illness in Oklahoma City. The program serves individuals who are frequently and repeatedly admitted to local area mental health crisis centers such as the Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center, Griffin Memorial Hospital, and the Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit.

Transitional Living for Youth

Walker Hall transitional housing is offered to young adults, ages 18 to 24, who have overcome homelessness, have a serious mental illness, and, in some cases, are transitioning out of state custody or foster care. Walker Hall offers a safe and structured environment, enabling participants to follow a daily schedule and work collaboratively to develop daily living skills, foster interpersonal relationships, and engage with their community. Our staff works one-on-one with participants to establish an individualized Housing & Care Plan, set goals based on needs and interests, and identify the steps needed to achieve their goals.

HHYP: Housing to Hope Youth Program

The Housing to Hope Youth Program (HHYP) offers transitional living to youth ages 18-24 who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. The program offers housing in apartment complexes throughout Oklahoma City in a roommate setting, along with extensive case management and life skills training that enable youth to successfully transition into independent living.
