Memorandum to temporarily freeze federal funding rescinded

We are pleased to share that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has officially rescinded OMB Memorandum M-25-13, which was set to freeze trillions of dollars in federal funding at 5 p.m. yesterday, as directed by the White House. An hour before the deadline, a U.S. District Judge temporarily blocked the order. The latest decision announced by the OMB removes the impending restrictions on federal funding, effective immediately.

This action is a significant development for Mental Health Association Oklahoma (MHAOK), along with millions of service providers across the country and each of the individuals we serve. While we remain alert to any future actions, the rescission of this memorandum ensures that critical funding will continue, as will our essential programs and services that Oklahomans depend on.

Our team is focused on the well-being of those who rely on our services, and we will continue to advocate for the resources necessary to meet the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. Thank you for supporting MHAOK and those we serve.
