Street Outreach Care Packs

Our Rapid Response and Homeless Outreach program delivers mobile street outreach to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. We seek out individuals who are living on the streets, under bridges, in encampments and other places not suitable for human habitation, and offer Street Outreach Care Packs. Our Care Packs include essential items for survival such as food, wellness items and other necessities. For more information, please give us a call at (918) 585-1213 (Tulsa), (405) 942-3700 (OKC), or email us at info@mhaok.org.

Suicide Prevention Training

Our one-hour emergency QPR training intervention teaches lay people how to recognize and respond positively to someone exhibiting suicide signs and behaviors. QPR, a nationally recognized evidenced-based training, stands for question, persuade and refer. Trainees will learn to question the individual’s meaning to determine suicide intent or desire, persuade the person to accept or seek help and refer them to the appropriate resources.
