Volunteer

The work Mental Health Association Oklahoma accomplishes each day is made possible through the support and involvement of our community. Volunteers make a tangible difference through outreach, advocacy, and resource connection. Our volunteer opportunities enhance our current services while providing volunteers with fulfilling ways to serve.

All available volunteer opportunities are posted on this page.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers will assist the outreach team in connecting with individuals and families in the community. Duties may include distributing resources (such as food, hygiene kits, or information packets), engaging with community members to share available services, helping set up and staff outreach events, and providing encouragement and support to those in need. Volunteers serve as positive representatives of the organization while fostering connections that promote wellness, empowerment, and access to resources.

Please fill out the volunteer interest form linked below, and the appropriate team member will follow up. Filling out the form is not a guarantee of participation, and needs may change which could impact response time or outcome. If selected to participate, you will be directed to complete the liability waiver attached to this page. Any needed follow up will be conducted by the MHAOK team associated with the posted volunteer opportunity.

At this time, a Master’s level licensure or prior work experience in social work is required for this volunteer opportunity.

Thank you for your interest in serving with Mental Health Association Oklahoma!
