Love this TulsaPeople photospread? Well, check out the behind-the-scenes video below!
Carnivale, the best party in town, keeps the good times rolling in 2018! Carnivale Stars & Stripes will carry us back to 1945 when swing dancing and big band music were in their heydays. It’s the Golden Age of Hollywood, Rosie the Riveter has opened doors for women, and the GIs are finally coming home. The dark days of World War II are giving way to a renewed sense of optimism in the country, and we know our brightest days are still ahead.
The stage will be set Saturday, March 24 in Tulsa with a patriotic theme that honors those who sacrificed so much and those who continue to serve. The best part is that your generous Carnivale sponsorship will help end veteran and chronic homelessness by moving people off the streets and into a safe place where they can rebuild their lives! Today, 2,405 individuals live in our housing, including 194 veterans.
Carnivale is all about dancing under a rain of confetti, so we’re really looking forward to “America’s Best Dance Band,” Liquid Blue, out of San Diego. This amazing big band will provide incredible vocals, a bit of brass, and a dance crew to create a high-energy atmosphere as we boogie-woogie the night away.
We hope you will plan to join us at the best party in town! See why you can’t miss it at www.bestpartyintown.org!
