Faith & Mental Health, formerly known as Caring for Your Congregation’s Mental Health, was started in 2002 as a gatekeeper educational outreach under the NIMH Outreach Partner Program. This workshop in Tulsa and Oklahoma City is designed to educate clergy, lay leaders, chaplains and other leaders within area faith communities on important issues related to the mental health of their congregations. In addition to helping break down the stigma surrounding mental illness, the purpose is also to provide science-based information along with resources.
“The best party in town,” as it is often called, is an evening to revel in fine dining, lively dancing and plenty of surprises at COX Business Center in downtown Tulsa. All Carnivale proceeds benefit Mental Health Association Oklahoma’s housing programs, among other services.
